Marti, What would be the “one Truth”? I believe the definition would be different for everyone. Even among different religions, faiths, new age groups and yes even the Course in Miracles there are varying opinions of the “one Truth”. My post was meant to encourage everyone to listen for their own personal answer, not to necessarily buy someone, or some group’s answer.

First of all, I am in complete admiration of you as a human who questions herself and is always in a process of growing. That is what makes a good coach, therapist, human. I certainly have experienced the phenomenon of attracting people like me. That is one of my primary reasons for continuing my own personal growth! We cannot do that growth in a vacuum- we need feedback/ reflection from a person we trust. Thus, the rise of brilliant coaches like you.

I took the ‘personal truth’ to mean that whatever is the right choice for me, for example, may not be right for another. Each of us has an individual path with different agenda’s….the only real universal truth is that there is a God and I love him very much! XO

Great blog BakeR. You are a great teacher.

When we are true to ourself, our career, relationships, and life line up in wonderful ways and we get clear, strong results. It is important to explore the power and importance of being in integrity with ourself.

I see teaching as the extension of one’s fundamental thought system to others. This is done not so much by the form of our communication, but by the content we are communicating. Thus it is done primarily by demonstration. And it is done all the time; we cannot help but teach. Our function is to extend right-minded ideas to others. In this sense, teaching is synonymous with healing. As we see these ideas go forth from us and heal others, our belief in them becomes strengthened. Teaching, then, is the way in which we truly learn; thus the phrase, “As you teach so shall you learn”.

As for truth I believe we must search out all that interferes with it. We must learn to distinguish between truth and illusion, letting illusions go without exception. Then truth will dawn upon us of itself. In that sense as we teach we learn to let truth express itself through us.

Baker,

Be careful in identifying awareness as “your truth.” There is only one Truth. We don’t have a personal truth. We experience knowledge, and as we receive purification we grow to Wisdom. A lot of New Age thought gives people permission to find a “personal truth,” which in fact is ego.
